The Rotterdam-ArtsBeijing International PoetrySync Festival
June 14, 2013
There will be a PoetrySync Time from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., on June 14 (GMT+2). The exchange hall will be open for anyone from anywhere of the world at that time, and the Chinese media will out in force for on-the-spot reports. Hopefully it will be very interesting to see the poets sharing ideas on aesthetics, poetics and other things. There will be translators in the exchange hall so that the Festival’s poets can communicate with the Chinese public more quickly and conveniently.

The bilingual website for the Rotterdam-ArtsBeijing International PoetrySync Festival has been established to display the works of both the Rotterdam Festival’s poets and Chinese poets for readers of poetry. A live ‘PoetrySync’ will take place on 14 June from 3-6 p.m. (GMT+2), during which festival poets will have the opportunity to interact with a Chinese public.
The Artsbj.com website has channels for reporting the Festival during the Festival period. Because the news of PoetrySync has been spread far and wide by the Chinese media (almost all of the portals have reported the PoetrySync news, as well as the hugely influential paper intermediaries such as the Southern Daily newspapers), numerous Chinese readers will be attracted to this website for further information over the Festival and the PoetrySync. The BBS and the Exchange Hall will enable them to communicate with the poets themselves, especially during the period of the PoetrySync, on June 14.There will be a PoetrySync Time from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., on June 14 (GMT+2).
