Workshop series Poetry Writing for beginners start 8 March

As part of the initiative Maak Mee In Je Wijk, Bibliotheek Rotterdam and Poetry International present a series of fun and educational workshops Poetry Writing for Beginners in the heart of the Alexanderpolder neighbourhood. On four Friday afternoons in library Ommoord, located in community centre De Romeynshof, you will learn step by step how to get what moves you to paper (or your tablet) in a catchy way. Besides writing, you will also learn how to recite your poem in the best possible fashion. The series concludes with a fun poetry afternoon where all participants perform their poem on stage. During the workshops you will be coached by Daniela Montoya Jerez, the afternoons will take place on Friday 8 and 22 March, and 5 and 19 April.
