SOLD OUT Poetry Walk & Lunch - 'Poetry Lives Here'

On the Katendrecht peninsula, poetic stories live. The streets speak, the water embraces, residents take you through the capillaries of the neighborhood. Walk along this unique poetry route on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 June during the Poetry International Festival.

Your adventure begins with a delicious lunch at Verhalenhuis Belvédère where the guides welcome you with music and poetry brought by guests of the Verhalenhuis. The walking route then takes you past and through houses, gardens, studios and other gems on the island. The guides are at home here; you will walk together with the letter carrier, an artist, a refugee and a storyteller. Residents welcome you to their special locations where you can enjoy performances by (international) poets, Rotterdam spoken word artists and musicians from the festival line-up of the Poetry International Festival.
