A body AS poetry
Poetry is text on paper, but also a voice reciting a poem, two lungs and a rap beating heart on a stage. That presentation makes the body vulnerable and visible and adds a new dimension to the poems we hear. In what ways is the body part of poetry, and how important is that? What is embodied poetry? These questions are explored, answered, and felt in the body.
A conversation with the poets Takako Arai and Ricardo Domeneck and translator Ivo Smits (Japanese). The poets will read some of their work. Host: Lisanne Snelders.
