Boaz Blume is a member of the deaf poetry collective Kitchen's Light and performs his own work in Dutch Sign Language. His performances have included Bijlmer Boekt (Bijlmerparktheater Amsterdam), the opening of the 2021 Rotterdam cultural season (Rotterdamse Schouwburg), Poetry International 2022 (Lantaren-Het Venster, Rotterdam) and in the short film Imaginings. He has also performed with spoken word artist Elten Kiene, who founded the Kitchen's Light group as workshop teacher. In daily life, Boaz is a teacher of Dutch Sign Language.
