Elke de Rijcke

De Rijke’s current research explores the intersecting domains of the arts (visual arts, performance arts, music), literature and science (neurosciences, astrophysics, botanics), in preparation of a new poetry book. She is part of the Brussels Poetry Collective (Passa Porta Brussels), and on the editorial boards of l’Etrangère and Tétras Lyre editions (Flanders Collection). Recently, she published two poetry books: Västerås. DARK PASSAGE. Journal d’une désémancipation (Le Cormier, 2012) and Quarantaine (Tarabuste, 2014). She also has published an essay, L’Expérience poétique dans l’œuvre d’André du Bouchet (La Lettre Volée, 2013).

Her French translation of Kees Ouwens’ poetry, Du perdant & de la source lumineuse (La Lettre volée) is slated for publication in 2016, as is her own bilingual poem through druksel editions in Ghent.
