Biografie
Elizabeth R.S. Muchemwa (a.k.a. Zaza Muchemwa) is a poet, theatre writer and director based in Harare. She has taken her productions and performances to festivals including HIFA, the Intwasa Festival, and Drama for Life.
Her short story ‘Positive Death’ was published in the Zimbabwe Women Writers Magazine in 2006. In 2011 she was shortlisted in the Intwasa Short Story competition for her story ‘Radio culture is dead’. Elizabeth believes that collaboration, exchange and education are the key to making the difference in an artist’s work. She is constantly looking for ways to better her mind and sharpen her storytelling skills.
