Citizen Quartz
Tiny feet drag across white face, hours stand so distant, my journey has no end.
Seconds echo a life I thought I’d left behind,
singing their stilted song,
strolling through midnight
to meet . . . minutes
dragging tiny feet, white face
hours so distant
my journey
has no
end.
