AT ALL TIMES
Your hand is smaller than mine, but I see your body
from one end of the world to another.
You speak quietly,
but I hear you
on thunder over the sea.
The enlargement terrifies.
I move near or far,
but I can’t decipher the writing.
There’s no deception in you,
but you ambush me in mountain passes,
between daybreak and dawn,
between the dog and the wolf.
