Forward Prize to Harsent
British poet David Harsent has won the £10,000 Forward poetry prize for his ninth collection, Legion. The jury praised it as looking “without prurience” at war horrors which we choose to forget, The Guardian writes. Helen Farish received the £5,000 prize for best first collection and Paul Farley the £1,000 best single poem award.
