In connection with the festival theme ‘City and Country’ of the 39th Poetry International Festival 2008 Poetry International Web collaborated with second-year students of the department Image & Language of the Gerrit Rietveld Academy, School of Arts in the Netherlands, to produce short films inspired by Indian poetry from the December 2007 ‘Places’-themed issue of the India domain of PIW.
