DAY AND NIGHT
The blushing day displays itself in acolorful cloak,
the bodies hang at eye level to dry,
they’re getting restless, they’re getting
rambunctious.
Night turns the wooded gaps black,
the coppice conspires,
coughing vehicles clear a path,
light is already gleaming above the bushes.

DAG EN NACHT
DAG EN NACHT
De blozende dag vertoont zich in eenkleurrijke mantel,
op ooghoogte hangen de lichamen te drogen,
ze worden ongeduldig, ze worden
onbesuisd.
De nacht maakt de houten gaten zwart,
het bos beraamt,
de hoestende voertuigen banen zich een weg,
er brandt al licht boven de struiken.
